The 25 mm thick draining rubber flooring Magellan® 25 is specifically designed for high-traffic areas: passageways, waiting areas, milking parlors or robot entrances.
Deep longitudinal grooves effectively drain liquids, helping to keep hooves above stagnant liquids. This design reduces moisture on the floor, lowering the risk of hoof diseases such as digital dermatitis (Mortellaro's disease), panaris, "cherry," and sole ulcers. It also contributes to limiting lameness and preventing early culling. Stones slide between the grooves, preventing micro-lesions and protecting the sole area.
Magellan's effective drainage system improves air quality and overall barn hygiene by reducing ammonia emissions by up to 40%.
Comfortable due to the flexibility of natural rubber, Magellan helps protect joints during frequent walking. The non-slip surface, adapted to the hoof morphology, increases safety and reduces the risk of slipping, even when the floor is wet.
