High-pressure misting
Multiple benefits for both the cow and the farmer
How does high-pressure misting work?
High-pressure misting relies on a simple and natural principle: evaporation. Water is pressurized by a high-performance unit, then dispersed through anti-drip nozzles specifically designed to prevent the formation of heavy or dripping droplets. The resulting micro-droplets, extremely fine, are almost invisible to the naked eye. They evaporate instantly upon contact with warm air, thus absorbing the thermal energy present in the atmosphere.
This phenomenon causes a rapid drop in temperature while maintaining an ideal level of humidity in the building, avoiding any excess that could harm the litter or hygiene.
The system is controlled by an intelligent control box (HSDC) that takes into account both temperature and humidity thanks to precise sensors. Depending on the THI (Temperature Humidity Index), the misting system automatically adjusts its operating frequency: the diffusion time is modulated in stages, defined in number of seconds of misting per minute. This ensures optimal cooling regardless of climatic conditions.
Finally, the installation is designed for dairy farming: easy to clean, resistant to water and dust, and compatible with operation coupled with Cyclone 360 fans to maximize the rate of evaporation and further improve the thermal comfort of cows.
Misting + Cyclone 360°: the winning combination
Coupling high-pressure misting with the Cyclone 360 maximizes cooling efficiency. The homogeneous airflow of the Cyclone accelerates the evaporation of the mist, offering an immediate and constant feeling of freshness over the entire surface of the building.
This combination ensures optimal thermal comfort, even during the most intense heat waves, and promotes the health, longevity and productivity of your cows.

Heat stress control
Traditional ventilation control solutions rely solely on the building's interior temperature. With Heat Stress Dynamic Control (HSDC), Bioret Agri takes it a step further: this intelligent system integrates both temperature and humidity to calculate the true THI.
Result: precise and responsive climate management that effectively protects your cows from heat stress and improves their comfort and performance.
HSDC: Heat Stress Dynamic Control
Smart control based on temperature, humidity, and customizable thresholds
1 HSDC / misting control unit (=16 cyclones)
Heat Stress Dynamic Control (HSDC) is an intelligent control system specifically designed to reduce heat stress in dairy buildings.
It relies on a network of temperature and humidity sensors that continuously monitor ambient conditions to calculate the THI. Using an adaptive algorithm, HSDC automatically adjusts ventilation and cooling to maintain a stable, comfortable indoor climate.
The process is progressive: as temperature rises, the fans start and gradually increase their speed as the THI increases. If this is not sufficient to maintain a cool environment, the system activates misting, combined with the fans to enhance the cooling effect. Finally, once the predefined THI threshold for your building is reached, the Aquaclim mattresses activate conduction cooling directly in contact with the animals.
This intelligent regulation maintains an optimal indoor climate at all times, without wasting energy or creating excess humidity. The result is a reliable, automated, and energy-efficient system that safeguards herd welfare and supports dairy production performance.
