Feedback on the installation of the Magellan 25
Located in Coise (France), GAEC des Lys raises a herd of Montbéliarde cows on 70 hectares dedicated to milk production.
In 2019, during the renovation of their building, the farmers chose to install Magellan 25 mats to improve the comfort of their animals and secure traffic areas.
"The comfort was immediately visible: the cows lie down more easily, they no longer slip on the concrete, and their feet remain clean and healthy. We no longer have dermatitis problems."
Faced with these results, the herd now benefits from cubicles and alleys fully equipped with Magellan 25 mats. The farmers note improved hygiene, easier heat detection, and increased daily peace of mind.
Their experience now inspires other producers who have come to visit the farm:
