Magellan® 25 matting, made of 25 mm thick draining rubber, is specially designed for high-traffic areas such as traffic corridors, waiting areas, milking parlors or robot access.

His deep longitudinal grooves ensure efficient drainage, keeping hooves elevated from stagnant liquids. This design limits the amount of moisture on the ground, reducing the risk of foot disorders such as the digitis dermatitis (Mortellaro), the panaris, the cherries or the sole ulcers. It helps limit lameness and prevent premature reforms. Pebbles slide between the grooves, avoiding micro-injuries and protecting the sole of the foot.

The Magellan's high-performance drainage system also contributes to the significant reduction in ammonia emissions (down to -40 %)*, improving air quality and overall building hygiene.

Comfortable thanks to its softness in natural rubber, Magellan helps preserve joints for frequent travel. Its non-slip surface, The new, ergonomically-adapted design of the claws enhances safety and reduces slipping, even on wet ground.

Compatible with straight and semi-straight wipers, Magellan 25 is easy to install, with no need to modify existing equipment. simple, efficient maintenance.

Flexibility comparable to natural soil

Cows' hooves have been shaped by evolution to walk on soft, loose, vegetation-covered ground.
Hard, concreted soils disrupt this natural adaptation, causing disorders such as chronic inflammation of the distal phalanx, the formation of bony excrescences and sole ulcers.
Magellan® soil reproduces the qualities of natural soil, offering a soft, shock-absorbing surface. It increases the area of contact with the ground, enabling better weight distribution over the whole hoof, and reduces pressure points responsible for internal foot lesions.
