Visit Magellan floor range has been designed to respect cows' natural physiology, with feet adapted to soft floors. Magellan® 16: the solution for slurry robots
To keep pace with the boom in robotic vacuum cleaners, and to meet the needs of the farms that install them, we have developed a thinner version of our Magellan® 25 draining rubber flooring: Magellan® 16.
With its 16 mm thick, this coating retains the main advantages of Magellan while offering a optimal compatibility with slurry robots. His profile at longitudinal grooves is perfectly cleaned by specially adapted brushes that can be attached to the robot.
The Magellan® 16 represents the ideal compromise for Magellan® comfort, drainage and hygiene, while enjoying the daily efficiency of a robotic vacuum cleaner.

Flexibility comparable to natural soil
- Cows' hooves have been shaped by evolution to walk on soft, loose, vegetation-covered ground.
- Hard, concreted soils disrupt this natural adaptation, causing disorders such as chronic inflammation of the distal phalanx, the formation of bony excrescences and sole ulcers.
- Magellan® soil reproduces the qualities of natural soil, offering a soft, shock-absorbing surface. It increases the area of contact with the ground, enabling better weight distribution over the whole hoof, and reduces pressure points responsible for internal foot lesions.
