A sustainable solution for high-traffic areas
Located in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, Deer Run Dairy is a dairy farm with more than 2,000 cows, 1,800 of which are milked every day. To equip its holding area and milking parlor, the farm chose the flooring Magellan 16 and Delta Diam 16 from Bioret Agri. These floor coverings perfectly meet their requirements for comfort, traction, and durability.
Prior to this installation, the farm used a system of interlocking slats. These slats provided a satisfactory level of comfort for the cows. However, they tended to stretch and warp over time. This warping caused the slats to lift, allowing water and manure to seep underneath them.
Four years after moving in…
Since replacing the old tiles with Bioret Agri flooring, Deer Run Dairy has quickly noticed a marked improvement. Their continuous-roll design has reduced stretching and limited water seepage under the flooring, thereby facilitating facility maintenance and helping to maintain a cleaner environment.
«Four years after installation, we've seen very little wear and virtually no stretching.»
Today, Deer Run Dairy prioritizes animal comfort, safe movement, and equipment durability—essential criteria in the most heavily used areas of the farm.
